In this 1st-grade mathematics worksheet, we will explore the addition operation. The addition is the basic mathematical operation where the sum of a few numbers is found out. The numbers that are added are called addends and the result is called sum. So

Number 1 + Number 2 + Number 3 + .. = Sum

Refer to the below mentioned image which shows that by adding number 6 with number 5 we get 11 as sum or result. Similarly 13+12=25.

Note that addition can be performed in any order and result will always be the same; for example 6+5 or 5+6 in the below image will give a sum of 11.
